"Desert Flame" at the Cooperage Oct. 2014

Just before Halloween Naomi Teppich installed her ferro-cement and stone sculpture entitled "Desert Flame" in front of the cooperage in Honesdale. The sculpture is composed of ten tall leaves (10'.8" high and 4' long.4' wide) modeled after the succulent plant heuchera. This piece symbolizes the changing type of plant that we can expect to see in cold environments such as Northeastern PA due to climate change.
